BirdFinder is a deceptively simple puzzle. There are birds hidden in this maze of letters. All you have to do is find them. Mercifully, there’s no time limit.
How many bird-words can you find?
To find a bird, scan the letters until you can locate the word. To keep it simple enough to guess, most names are generic, except for a few; i.e. you may find gull and lark, rather than Black-headed Gull or Rufous-tailed Lark. You can find words diagonally, left to right, and right to left, but always in a straight line.
In some puzzles, the clues are in the form of phrases; in others, they are in the form of images. If you use Hints, you won’t score for that particular word. And if you use the Reveal option, the puzzle is completed for you without any score.
Have a go at BirdFinder, and don’t forget to brag about your score!
BirdFinder 1 – Common Indian Garden Birds
Each of the 12 birds hidden in this puzzle can be found in most gardens across India. How many can you find? Use the images as generic clues; e.g. the word is likely to be lark, rather than Rufous-tailed Lark.
BirdFinder 2 – The Mind-flex Version
This is a Level 3 BirdFinder puzzle. The clues are tricky, but if you quickly get the drift, you’ll enjoy the puzzle even if it outwits you in the end. Don’t forget to brag about your score!
